You don’t want to spend another 12 weeks simply learning more Catalan. You want to use the Catalan you already know, express your opinions, tell stories, have conversations and feel more natural when you speak.
That’s exactly what this programme is designed for.
Catalan Conversation & Confidence is a 12-week, small-group programme designed to help you become a more confident and spontaneous speaker.
Each week we’ll explore a different topic through guided conversation, short readings or listening activities, useful vocabulary and expressions, and plenty of speaking practice.
There isn’t a traditional textbook or a fixed grammar syllabus. Instead, we’ll focus on the language you actually need to communicate — while naturally introducing new vocabulary, structures and ways to express yourself.
Think of it as the bridge between finishing A2 and becoming a confident intermediate Catalan speaker.

This programme is ideal for you if you’ve completed A2 (or equivalent) and you’re ready to start using your Catalan more independently.
You don’t need to consider yourself “B1” yet! If you can understand basic Catalan, communicate in familiar situations and form simple sentences, but struggle when you have to speak spontaneously or express more complex ideas, this is the perfect next step.
It’s also suitable for B1 and possibly even B2 learners who want to maintain and improve their speaking skills, expand their vocabulary and get more regular opportunities to speak Catalan.

I’m Christina, a language teacher and Lead Practitioner in Spanish with a passion for helping students build real confidence when speaking. I was born in Catalonia to a Catalan mother and English father, and moved to England when I was six, growing up between both cultures.
Being fluent in English, Catalan, Spanish and French has given me a deep understanding of how languages are learned and used in real life. Through my teaching, I aim to help learners move beyond the basics and develop the confidence to communicate naturally.

1. Course Overview
By enrolling in a 12-week Catalan Group Programme, you agree to the following terms. This course consists of 12 live online lessons via zoom, with a maximum of 6 students per group.
2. Payment & Enrollment
Full payment is required at the time of enrollment to secure your place.
Spaces are limited (maximum 6 students per class), and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Once a session is fully booked, registration will close.
- A minimum of 3 students is required for the group programme to run. If this minimum is not met, the course will be canceled and all enrolled students will receive a full refund.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
If the teacher cancels a lesson:
If I need to cancel a scheduled lesson, I will reschedule it at a mutually convenient time.
If multiple lessons must be canceled (unlikely), I will offer a partial refund or extra sessions to ensure you receive the full 12 lessons.
If a student cancels or misses a lesson:
No refunds or rescheduling for missed lessons, but a recording will be made available.
If a student decides to withdraw from the programme, no refunds will be issued.
4. Course Delivery & Access
Live sessions will be conducted via Google Meet (link provided after enrollment).
Course materials, worksheets, and lesson recordings will be shared via Google Classroom/Podia.
Students are expected to have a stable internet connection and a device suitable for video calls.
5. Code of Conduct
To ensure a positive and productive learning environment, students must:
✅ Be respectful towards the teacher and classmates.
✅ Participate actively in lessons.
✅ Avoid disruptive behavior.
Failure to comply may result in removal from the programme without a refund.
6. Recording & Privacy
Lessons may be recorded for students who miss a session.
These recordings are for educational purposes only and must not be shared outside the group.
7. Course Guarantee
The full 12 lessons will be delivered, even if some need to be rescheduled.
In case of unforeseen circumstances preventing course completion, a fair resolution (such as rescheduling or partial refund) will be arranged.
